Who We Are

A Local Crew You Can Rely On

USA Roofing & Chimney Co. started the way a lot of family businesses do. We’re a full-service roofing, chimney, and siding company working in the local NJ cities for years. The same care that went into the first roof still goes into every job today; whether it’s a small repair or a full restoration, we provide the highest-quality solutions.

Matched To Your Roofline, Not Forced Into One Standard Fix

Roofing Services

A flat-roof home requires a different system than a steep-pitch house. We work with six different roofing systems, so the solution fits the building, not the other way around.

Shingle Roofing

There’s a reason most homes are equipped with asphalt shingles. Underlayment is applied beneath the roof deck to ensure it. The shingles are then laid over this with flashing around chimneys, valleys, and vents, and the ridge cap completes the top. When exposure is necessary, algae-resistant options will be used to keep the roof clean.

TPO Roofing

TPO works well on flat roofs and low-slope additions found on many homes. The white membrane reflects heat rather than absorbing it, keeping the interior cooler in summer without adding extra load to the AC. TPO seams are heat-welded during installation, not glued together. If your home has a flat, garage, or low-pitched rear roof, TPO is worth considering.

EPDM Roofing

EPDM is a durable, flexible rubber membrane used on flat roofs for a long time. It lasts well and resists cracking in cold weather. When water freezes and then thaws over and over again, it is really hard on the materials that roofs are made of.

Some roofing systems are too rigid, and they crack with temperature changes. EPDM handles freezing and thawing better than other systems.

Torch-Down Roofing

Torch-down roofing is a modified bitumen system. A propane torch heats the membrane during installation and bonds it directly to the roof surface. The modified bitumen material moves with the building as temperatures change. It resists cracking under freeze-thaw stress better than older flat roofing materials, which means fewer repairs down the line.

Slate Roofing

Slate is not the cheapest roofing option, but it is the longest-lasting. It is heavy and requires a reinforced roof structure. Repairs need to be done correctly, or they create new problems. One wrong repair on a slate roof can compromise the rows around it.

We handle slate with precision and understand its specific installation and repair requirements.

Cedar Shake Roofing

Cedar shake cannot be found in any artificial material; it looks different. The thick split wood shingles add a natural texture and depth, giving a home more character.

In wetter climates, moisture seeps into cracks and causes decay more quickly. When installing cedar shake roofs, we spray fireproofing and waterproofing on it.

Small Cracks Fixed Before Winter Makes Them Worse

Chimney & Fireplace Services

Most homeowners need repair, rebuild or cleaning services related to the chimney.

Chimney Repair

A crack that looks minor today becomes bigger within months. We fix structural damage, faulty flashing, and worn mortar joints while the work is still straightforward, before the freeze-thaw cycle turns it into a bigger job. This is also where cap and chase cover work usually happens.

Chimney Rebuild

Some chimneys are beyond repair. When the bricks are cracked, the surface of the bricks is breaking off, or the chimney is leaning, it is a sign that the chimney needs to be torn down and rebuilt from scratch rather than fixed again. The chimney needs to be rebuilt, not just patched up again.

Chimney Cleaning & Relining

Every fire leaves creosote behind. It builds up inside the flue layer by layer. Creosote buildup becomes a fire hazard over time. We reline the chimney, so wherever the existing liner has cracked or broken down, it helps with cleaning the chimney and leave your fireplace safe and ready to use.

Chimney Cap

No cap on your chimney means rain can go straight down the flue, and birds and squirrels can nest there, bringing in debris. Give it enough time, and that stuff piles up at the bottom of the flue. We size a cap to fit your specific flue and get it installed so it keeps everything out without choking off the draft.

Chase Cover

That factory-built chimney’s metal cover endures weather year after year. Once it starts rusting, water finds the seams and starts working its way down into the chase walls. Most homeowners do not notice it until it shows up inside the house, and by then it has usually spread farther than expected.
Repair, or Replacement, Handled By One Specialized Team

Siding Services We Offer

Most homeowners choose one of these five options. Here’s the honest difference between them.

Vinyl Siding

Vinyl siding is the choice for homeowners who want solid protection without a high price. It resists moisture well. It comes in more colors and styles than most other materials. We install panels built for real NJ weather, not just a mild season.

James Hardie Siding

James Hardie fiber cement is designed for New Jersey’s climate, with winter freeze-thaw cycles and heavy summer humidity. It resists fire, holds paint far longer than other materials, and simply outlasts most alternatives.

Cedar Siding

Cedar is the choice when the look and feel of natural wood matter more than low maintenance. Cedar gives a home a natural look, no other material copies that look exactly. It lasts a long time, but only if it’s sealed and maintained the right way.

Siding Repair

Not all problems with the siding require a complete rebuild. Typically, a crack in the panel or an isolated area of rot or storm damage to one area of the house requires a localised repair and does not warrant a complete tear-off.

Siding Replacement

When repair costs start to equal those of replacement, or the siding is growing old throughout the house, replacement is a better investment. The old siding is removed, and a complete weather-tightness barrier is installed before the new sheathing can be put on.

Yes, we hold a Home Improvement Contractor licence through the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage on every job. Before any work begins, ask for our licence number and proof of insurance. Every job complies with local building code standards, and we handle permits where required.

Every service line begins with a free inspection. We inspect the roof, flashing, liner, chimney crown, siding, and wall condition as needed. You receive an honest recommendation on what needs attention before any decision.

Most vinyl-siding jobs on an average-sized home are completed in two to three days. James Hardy fiber cement takes longer because it’s heavier, and each cut edge needs priming and sealing before installation. A full fiber cement re-side usually takes 5-10 days, depending on the home size and complexity.
